ARIZONA STATE BJJ RESULTS
Arizona State Championship Results:
The 1st Arizona Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu State Championship was held in Tempe, Arizona on June 25th. Schools from Arizona, California, Nevada, and New Mexico competed at the tournament. The AZ State Championship was sponsored by Throwdown Fight Gear, Gilbane, One Stop Nutrition, HCK Kimonos, United States Air Force, Ouano, Arizona Combat Sports, and www.gdjiujitsu.com.
The standouts of the tournament were:
Cody Tripp (Megaton), who won the white belt/Lightweight division. The stand out of the tournament was Steve Rosenberg (Gustavo Dantas/ACS), who the Blue Belt/Middleweight division, winning all his matches by submission. In the purple belt class, Michael Graeber (Megaton) took the lightweight Division.
In the Super Fight, Alberto Crane (Santa Fe BJJ) submitted Pal Mark (Judo Black Belt) by choke.
